Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the practitioner can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
Holy Fire® energy is noticeably more refined and comes from a higher level of consciousness. Some of the qualities students have experienced include:
Works continuously even when not thinking about it and spontaneously heals issues as they come up.
Always respects free will.
Heals deeply and quickly without distress.
Heals relationships and interactions with others.
Releases worry and replaces it with a sense of safety in a most pronounced way.
Spontaneously provides guidance that is palatable for every level of life experience.
Tends to develop all the personality traits that are healthy for a person to have such as love of self and others, kindness, patience, confidence, vitality, enthusiasm, optimism, trust, joy, peace and so forth.
One of the more wonderful effects is a feeling of being loved. This is a deep and refined feeling that is very nurturing.
Once received, it continues to develop itself to be more evolved and effective.
It is believed that Reiki is much older than we have documented proof of but it emerged in the early 20th century with Dr. Mikao Usui in Japan. He was gifted the symbolic tools to guide him through reiki when he embarked on a 21 day fast in the mountains. In 1922 he moved to Tokyo and started a healing society - translated as Usui Reiki Healing Method Society. This is where he was able to establish the workings of what we practice today. Before his death in 1926 he had four students, one of which was Dr. Chujiro Hayashi. Sensei was asked by Usui to open his own Reiki clinics and expand and develop the practice, which he did, until his ritual suicide in 1940. He advanced Usui's teachings into what we consider Reiki I & II with their proper attunements. Reiki was brought West by Hawayo Takata, who practiced and taught in America until her death in the 1980's.
Although Reiki energy is spiritual in nature, Reiki is not a religion. Practitioners are not asked to change any religious or spiritual beliefs they may have. I support you to continue believing anything you choose. All while encouraging you to make your own decisions concerning the nature of your religious practices.
Most of the time a person will feel relaxed and uplifted by a Reiki treatment. However, sometimes a person will have what is called a healing crisis. As a person’s vibration goes up, toxins that have been stored in the body will be released into the blood stream to be filtered by the liver and kidneys and removed from the system. When this happens, sometimes a person can get a headache or stomach ache or feel weak. If this happens, it is a good idea to drink more water, eat lighter meals and get more rest. The body is cleansing as part of the healing process so this is a good sign.
I believe this answer to be simple… pure intention. I am a conduit of the Reiki energy, by tapping into your energy field with the permission of your highest self, I am able to allow this healing touch to flow freely anywhere I focus my intention.
I do not need to schedule a video chat or phone call to provide this session. I do ask that during the time we agree, you take the time – free of media or distraction, to relax. This will allow me to pick up on what messages come through.
YES! There are TONS of research based articles out there, I recommend always making sure the sources are credible. Here are a few that I enjoyed.
